On February 29, 2008 the front of the Disney Channel Building located in Burbank, California was covered with teenage girls holding fluorescent colored posters protesting for their favorite new pop artist, Joey Page, to be played on the networks Radio Disney station, which targets the "tween" pop market. Beginning on February 23, 2008, Radio Disney began featuring teenage pop artist, Joey Page, as their "Incubator" artist with a commercial interview airing on the station for a two week period. During this time period fans flooded the Radio Disney request line hoping to hear Joey's song "Turn It Up".
